Ground-Based Affordable Mass (G-BAM)
SBIR Opportunity Analysis
The Department of War is seeking a ground-based, non-hypersonic, long-range precision payload delivery system under the Ground-Based Affordable Mass program. Selected small businesses must design and produce user-friendly prototype solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing military systems and support rapid, low-cost manufacturing. Deliverables include a ground-launched system with a threshold range exceeding 300 nautical miles, a unit cost under $2 million, and a demonstrated manufacturing capability of at least 500 units annually. Eligibility for this Direct-to-Phase II SBIR award is strictly limited to winners of the corresponding Defense Innovation Unit G-BAM Challenge. This Phase II contract offers up to $2,000,000 in funding for an 18-to-24-month period of performance.
