Ground-Based Affordable Mass (G-BAM)
SBIR Opportunity Analysis
The Department of War is seeking a ground-based, non-hypersonic, long-range precision payload delivery system under the Ground-Based Affordable Mass program. Selected small businesses must design and produce user-friendly prototype systems that integrate seamlessly with existing Army transport, targeting, and situational awareness systems. Deliverables must achieve a unit cost of under $2 million, support a manufacturing rate of at least 500 units annually, and demonstrate a ground-launched threshold range exceeding 300 nautical miles. Only winners of the precursor Defense Innovation Unit G-BAM Challenge are eligible to submit a proposal for this Direct-to-Phase II SBIR award, which offers up to $2,000,000 for an 18-to-24-month period of performance.
