Spatial Tracking for Enhanced Automated Manufacturing - Extended Reality (STEAM-XR)

The Department of Defense, specifically the United States Air Force, is seeking innovative solutions for the development of Extended Reality (XR)-based software aimed at modernizing aircraft maintenance training procedures. The primary objective is to create a near real-time, markerless motion tracking solution that achieves approximately 5mm accuracy for aircraft component-sized parts, facilitating active training and automated training content generation.
