AgilePod16V2 Compatible Optical Nose End-cone and High-Resolution EO/IR Attritable Deployment Sensor for Modular Capability – AgilePod ConeHEADs

The United States Air Force (USAF) is seeking proposals for the development of an AgilePod16V2 compatible optical nose end cone and a high-resolution Electro-Optical/Infra-Red (EO/IR) sensor system, aimed at enhancing Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities on non-traditional platforms. The objective is to design and integrate a sensor capable of detecting, tracking, and identifying targets with a National Imagery Interpretability Rating Scale (NIIRS) value of 5 or higher for Electro-Optical Warfare (EOW) and 8 or higher for Electro-Optical Night (EON), while adhering to specific size, weight, and operational requirements.
