The Department of Defense, through the Department of War, is seeking a secure, enterprise-grade Generative AI Software-as-a-Service platform under the SBIR program to automate and enhance critical administrative, security, and compliance workflows. The chosen performer will develop and deliver a Minimum Viable Product containing automated builders for Security Classification Guides, Program Protection Plans, and OPSEC plans, along with policy review tools and an insider threat management module. Crucial requirements include demonstrating significant technical maturity for a Direct to Phase II award, fine-tuning large language models for high-stakes domains, and ensuring the platform is capable of operating in classified environments up to Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information. The project features an 18-month period of performance to develop and demonstrate the prototype in a relevant environment. Proposals must be submitted by the application due date of June 24, 2026, at 4:00 PM Eastern Time.
