The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking innovative and cost-effective solutions under the Weapon System Readiness Program to address readiness challenges caused by delays or shortages of critical DLA-managed items. Selected contractors will develop prototypes using advanced manufacturing techniques, reverse engineering, and alternative sourcing strategies to improve supply chain reliability and reduce lead times. Phase I of this Small Business Innovation Research effort focuses on demonstrating technical feasibility for a limited number of critical items, requiring a Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Level 2 (Self) and strict adherence to ITAR and EAR regulations regarding foreign nationals. Phase I projects must not exceed a 12-month duration or a cost of $100,000, with final applications due by June 24, 2026, at 4:00 PM.
