Weapon System Readiness Program (WSRP)
SBIR Opportunity Analysis
The Defense Logistics Agency, through DLA Weapon Support, is seeking SBIR solutions for the Weapon System Readiness Program to address readiness problems caused by delays or shortages of DLA-managed items needed to achieve fully mission-capable status. The work focuses on improving supply chain reliability, reducing lead times, and ensuring access to critical materials and components by developing innovative, cost-effective approaches such as advanced manufacturing, reverse engineering, alternative sourcing, and new supplier onboarding. Phase I is limited to demonstrating technical feasibility for a small number of critical items and requires coordination with the cognizant engineering authority; the opportunity also requires CMMC Level 2 (Self) certification and compliance with ITAR/EAR restrictions on foreign nationals. Phase I is not to exceed 12 months and $100,000, and the application due date is June 24, 2026 at 4:00 PM.
