Fusion of Abstract Learning and Context-Optimized Neural-methods (FALCON)
SBIR Opportunity Analysis
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, under the Department of Defense, is seeking Direct to Phase II proposals for the Fusion of Abstract Learning and Context-Optimized Neural-methods program. The selected contractor must develop an architecture that integrates advanced machine learning methods for structured data with large language models to enable computationally efficient, interactive statistical analysis of large-scale datasets. Key technical deliverables include mitigating model hallucinations, demonstrating reproducible analytical traces, achieving Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Level 2, and scaling the solution to enterprise-level data across at least two distinct datasets. Proposers must demonstrate Phase I technical feasibility using prior research from the last three years to support a 12-month base period and a six-month option period. Proposals must be submitted under solicitation number DPA26BZ04-DV016 by the close date of August 19, 2026, at 4:00 PM Eastern Time.
