Micro Display for Augmented Reality Information Overlay

The Department of Defense, specifically the Army, is seeking proposals for the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) project titled "Micro Display for Augmented Reality Information Overlay." This initiative aims to develop and optimize micro display technologies, such as microLED or OLED, for use in lightweight, low power, and cost-effective augmented reality heads-up displays (HUDs) tailored for ground Soldiers. The project is critical for enhancing the operational capabilities of Soldiers by providing high-resolution, color displays that function effectively in various lighting conditions while being powered by standard AA batteries.
