OPEN TOPIC - Tactical CB Visualization
SBIR Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Defense Chemical and Biological Defense SBIR program is seeking an innovative tactical visualization capability to improve Warfighter situational awareness and decision support in chemical and biological contested environments. The effort calls for a Human-Machine Interface solution, such as augmented reality or sensor visualization, that can integrate and communicate tactical data in real time and may be delivered as a new end-user device or an enhancement to existing kit. The solution must work with MOPP kits and respirators, including the M50, follow battlefield eyewear safety guidance, and for software comply with Integrated Sensor Architecture standards, the current Tactical Assault Kit SDK, and DISA STIG guidance; Phase I requires a proof of concept and design specifications, Phase II a pre-production prototype, and Phase III performance validation and integration. The opportunity is pre-release, opens April 15, 2026, and closes May 13, 2026 at 4:00 PM UTC with application due the same day.
