Advancing Testing and Analytics of Indicative and Conductive Material Seals for Near Real Time Tamper Detection

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is seeking innovative solutions through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program to advance testing and analytics of indicative and conductive material seals for near real-time tamper detection. The objective is to develop new materials and processes that enhance the reliability of tamper-indicating seals, which are critical in supply chain management for customs, law enforcement, and counterterrorism, especially given the significant rise in cargo theft incidents reported in 2023. Proposals are invited for both Phase I, with a budget of up to $100,000 over 12 months, and Phase II, with a budget of up to $1 million over 24 months, with submissions due by May 21, 2025.
