Small Innovative Mission Power Sources

The Department of Defense, specifically the Joint Program Executive Office Armaments and Ammunition (JPEO A&A) Project Manager Maneuver Ammunition Systems (PM MAS), is seeking innovative power source solutions for advanced ammunition fuzing technologies. The objective is to expand the supplier base and production capacity for power sources that can maintain an extended shelf-life, fit within a 400 mm³ cylindrical volume, and operate under extreme conditions while supplying 50 to 200 mW. This initiative is crucial as it supports the increasing demand for advanced ammunition capabilities across various military services.
