The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is offering the Region 06 Fiscal Year 2025 Wetland Program Development Grants (WPDGs) to assist eligible entities in developing and refining programs aimed at protecting, managing, and restoring wetlands. The grants, which are available through cooperative agreements, are intended for state, Tribal, territory, and local government agencies, as well as interstate and intertribal entities, with a total estimated funding of $2,468,000 and individual awards capped at $500,000. This initiative is crucial for enhancing the quantity and quality of wetlands across the U.S. by fostering comprehensive wetland management programs.
