The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) of the USDA is offering funding through the Plant Protection Act Section 7721 for the National Clean Plant Network (NCPN) program, with an estimated total of $8 million available for Fiscal Year 2026. This initiative aims to establish a network of Clean Plant Centers dedicated to producing pathogen-free propagative plant material for specialty crops, thereby enhancing U.S. agricultural competitiveness and safeguarding plant health.
