PRIA 5 Training Development

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is inviting applications for the PRIA 5 Training Development grant, aimed at enhancing training for pesticide registrants under the Pesticide Registration Improvement Act (PRIA). The selected awardee will be responsible for updating existing training materials, developing new curricula, conducting workshops and webinars, and identifying agricultural focus areas for EPA crop tours, all with the goal of improving the efficiency, clarity, and consistency of the pesticide registration and review processes. This initiative is crucial for aligning competencies with EPA's mission and educating stakeholders on regulatory procedures to reduce backlogs and promote consistent decision-making. The total funding available for this cooperative agreement is $200,000, with applications due by March 31, 2026.
