The U.S. Department of State, through the U.S. Embassy in Brasília, Brazil, is seeking proposals for the creation of four immersive virtual reality (VR) experiences to commemorate the 250th anniversary of U.S. Independence. The project aims to design, produce, and deliver VR content that highlights U.S. culture, history, and innovation, specifically focusing on themes such as Route 66, national parks, historic sites, and NASA space exploration, with narration provided in Brazilian Portuguese. This initiative is intended to enhance outreach efforts at American Spaces across Brazil, fostering a deeper understanding of U.S. values and policies. Proposals are due by September 17, 2025, at 2:00 PM local Brasília time, with a pre-proposal conference scheduled for September 10, 2025.
