The United States Air Force's 424th Supply Chain Management Squadron (SCMS) at Tinker Air Force Base is conducting market research through a Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) to identify potential sources for the new manufacture of 'Slat, Aircraft' with NSN 1560-01-701-2335KT and P/N 654T0513-1555 for the KC-46 platform. This is a new spares procurement, not a repair requirement, with an estimated spares requirement of 1,250 units. The purpose is to determine the best acquisition strategy, including potential for competition or Small Business Set-Aside. Interested businesses, including various small business classifications, are encouraged to respond with their company information, CAGE code, UEI, and ownership status. Potential sources must be capable of furnishing all labor, materials, facilities, and equipment for manufacturing, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping, and may be responsible for nonrecurring engineering costs. A Source Approval Request (SAR) package is required for qualification, with details available through www.sam.gov/ and submission via DoD SAFE.
