The Department of Defense, through the Naval Air Systems Command, is hosting the PMA-201/VX-23 Air-Launched Weapons Aircraft Integration Summit (ALWAIS) 2025, aimed at enhancing the integration of air-launched munitions with Naval aircraft, particularly the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet. On behalf of Program Executive Officer, Unmanned Aviation and Strike Weapons (PEO(U&W)) and Navy Test Wing Atlantic (NTWL), the Precision Strike Weapons Program Office (PMA-201) and Air Test & Evaluation Squadron Twenty-Three (VX-23) are planning to host the PMA-201/VX-23 ALWAIS 2025 for interested parties. The focus of this PMA-201/VX-23 ALWAIS 2025 is to reduce the barriers to Naval aircraft integration across the air-launched weapons enterprise.

The planned agenda will provide participants with increased understanding of the technical approach to integrating air-launched munitions with Naval aircraft, with primary emphasis on the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet. The technical briefings will include experts both from PMA-201 and from the F/A-18 and E/A-18G Program Office (PMA-265). Discussions will include opportunities to accelerate integration milestones, approaches to achieving early discovery and reducing integration risk, and identification of typical challenge areas in achieving the requisite clearances to test or operate on Navy platforms. Attendees will also hear about the business processes associated with collaborating with test squadrons like VX-23, expanding the opportunity space for integration discovery beyond formal program-of-record activities. Industry parties with interest in future opportunities with Navy air-launched weapons, including collaboration with NAWCAD, NAWCWD, PMA-201, PMA-242, or PMA-259, are encouraged to take advantage of this engagement.

**EVENT SPECIFICS**

The PMA-201/VX-23 ALWAIS 2025 will take place on 1 October 2025, will be held at the SECRET level and will be in-person only in southern Maryland on or near the Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland. The Morning Session will consist of briefings and panel discussions/Q&A (some potentially at the SECRET level) from government representatives. The Afternoon Session of the PMA-201/VX-23 ALWAIS 2025 will consist of Static Displays of various air-launched weapons, weapons loading demonstrations and facilities tours. Only U.S. contractors or sub-contractors with a final SECRET clearance and performing on a current weapons-focused DoD contract with a current DD254 at the SECRET (minimum) level will be allowed to attend.

Due to space limitations, PMA-201/VX-23 ALWAIS 2025 attendance will be limited to no more than two representatives per company.  Registration for attendance will be based on a first come, first served basis and will close when full or NO LATER than 1500 Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on 23 September 2025.
