DETECTOR, ALARM / NSN 6340-01-010-8837 / T-38 AIRCRAFT

The Department of Defense, through the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA Aviation), is seeking to establish an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for the procurement of the DETECTOR, ALARM (NSN 6340-01-010-8837) specifically for the T-38 aircraft. The contract will cover a five-year base period with an estimated annual quantity of 120 units, which are critical components but not classified as Critical Safety Items. Interested contractors must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) if they are not among the approved sources, which currently include Kidde Technologies and Meggitt. Proposals must be submitted within 45 days of the notice publication, with the solicitation expected to be issued on September 18, 2025.
