Janitorial services for VS KY Facility

This Statement of Work outlines the janitorial services required for the USDA APHIS VS Kentucky Area Office and Regional Laboratory, totaling 9,500 square feet, located at 105 Corporate Drive, Suite E, F, G, and H, Frankfort, KY 40601. Services are to be performed Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding holidays, with minimal disruption to personnel. Annual floor cleaning is authorized for Saturdays. The contract period is from February 1, 2026, to January 30, 2027. The scope of work includes daily tasks such as trash collection, restroom and breakroom cleaning, and sweeping. Weekly tasks involve spot cleaning surfaces, damp mopping, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning breakroom trash cans. Bi-monthly requirements include damp wiping restroom receptacles and partitions. Quarterly, the working laboratory section's resilient flooring will be mopped and waxed. Bi-annual tasks involve cleaning interior and exterior windows. Annually, all carpeted flooring will be shampooed, resilient flooring stripped and waxed, light fixtures cleaned, and vertical blinds dusted and wiped. The contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, and tools, and ensure employees wear security badges. The contractor is responsible for providing all cleaning solvents, while the government supplies trash liners, paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap. The contractor must adhere to applicable safety and OSHA requirements for hazardous substance storage and use.
