The Department of Defense, through the Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity, intends to award a sole source contract to the University of Houston for a military-specific Personalized Normative Feedback (PNF) intervention aimed at reducing problematic alcohol use and its associated behaviors among Service Members. This three-year research and development contract, set to run from January 7, 2026, to January 6, 2029, will leverage the University of Houston's expertise and existing intervention protocols, which are crucial for addressing issues such as domestic violence, depression, and suicide within the military community.
