The Department of the Army’s USAMRAA, through the Defense Health Agency’s CDMRP, is funding the FY26 Pancreatic Cancer Research Program Focused Pilot Award to advance patient-centered pancreatic cancer research. The award supports innovative pilot studies in areas such as supportive care, quality of life, and survivorship, with the goal of generating robust preliminary data for future clinical or real-world research applications. Clinical research studies are allowed, but clinical trials and preclinical animal studies are not permitted; applications are also reviewed for scientific merit, innovation, and impact, and there is no restriction on Principal Investigator career level. Approximately $1.2 million is available for about four awards of up to $0.3 million each over two years, with a pre-application due September 16, 2026 and a full application due October 7, 2026.
