Single Cell Opioid Responses in the Context of HIV (SCORCH) Program: Phase 2

The National Institutes of Health and the National Institute on Drug Abuse seek applications to fund Phase 2 of the Single Cell Opioid Responses in the Context of HIV (SCORCH) Program. Funded projects must perform research that addresses critical questions on Substance Use Disorder and its interactions with HIV disease progression at the subcellular, cellular, or circuit levels in the central nervous system. Work will leverage cutting-edge single cell approaches and data mining to identify candidate mechanisms, targets, and functional significance to advance the mechanistic understanding of these interactions. Eligible applicants include regional organizations, faith-based or community-based organizations, territorial governments, and eligible federal agencies.
