Grant Opportunity Analysis

The National Endowment for the Humanities is offering a discretionary grant program to strengthen the teaching and study of the humanities at institutions of higher education through curriculum development focused on Western civilization, American history, American government and civics, and/or the Great Books tradition. The program supports formal education projects that develop or improve humanities curricula for eligible accredited public or nonprofit institutions of higher education, with no cost sharing required. The general NEH application guidance calls for applicants to review the NOFO carefully, complete required registrations such as SAM.gov and Grants.gov, prepare the application and budget materials, and submit through Grants.gov in line with the program requirements.
