The Department of Homeland Security, through FEMA, is offering the Fiscal Year 2025 State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP) to enhance the cybersecurity resilience of state, local, and territorial government systems. Eligible applicants, specifically designated State Administrative Agencies (SAAs), must develop a comprehensive Cybersecurity Plan and address at least one of the program's objectives, which include improving governance structures, assessing current cybersecurity postures, implementing risk-commensurate security protections, and ensuring personnel training. This grant program, with an estimated total funding of $91.75 million and individual awards ranging from $255,679 to $4,174,163, requires a cost-sharing agreement and is aimed at fostering collaboration among jurisdictions to effectively combat evolving cyber threats. Eligible Applicants
The Governor-designated SLCGP SAA is the only entity eligible to submit SLCGP applications to DHS/FEMA.
