Strengthening government capacity for implementation and management of public health systems for quality improvement, monitoring and evaluation, survey/surveillance and health information system for program sustainability in Nigeria under PEPFAR

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is offering a cooperative agreement aimed at strengthening the capacity of the Nigerian government to implement and manage public health systems under the PEPFAR initiative. This opportunity focuses on enhancing continuous quality improvement, monitoring and evaluation, and health information systems to ensure the sustainability of public health programs, particularly in the context of HIV response. The anticipated funding for the first year is approximately $15 million, with the application deadline set for February 17, 2026, and the project expected to commence on September 30, 2026.
