Grant Opportunity Analysis
The Administration for Children and Families Office of Community Services is seeking applicants for a cooperative agreement to support the Community Services Block Grant performance management, data collection, and compliance systems. The selected organization will provide training and technical assistance to states, territories, and tribes to improve data verification, measure outcomes, assist with post-monitoring compliance plans, and draft the annual Report to Congress. The project features a 36-month period of performance divided into a four-month planning phase and a subsequent implementation phase, during which the federal agency will maintain substantial collaborative involvement. Applications must be submitted electronically via Grants.gov by August 24, 2026, for a single award with an estimated first-year funding amount of $650,000.
Eligible Applicants
As prescribed by Section 678A(c)(2) of the CSBG Act, as amended (42 U.S.C. 9913(c)(2)), eligible applicants are CSBG-eligible entities, or statewide or local organizations or associations, with demonstrated expertise in providing training to individuals and organizations on methods of effectively addressing the needs of families and communities with low incomes. Applications from individuals (including sole proprietorships) and foreign entities are not eligible and will be disqualified from the merit review and funding under this funding opportunity. Faith-based and community organizations that meet the eligibility requirements are eligible for awards under this funding opportunity.
