Grant Opportunity Analysis

The U.S. Geological Survey is seeking a cooperative agreement with a participating partner of the Great Lakes-Northern Forest Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit to develop authoritative knowledge infrastructure for its GeoAI application in support of the Intelligent National Map. The work centers on building agentic technology that can query diverse geospatial data sources in natural language and produce actionable answers or reports. The opportunity is limited to Great Lakes-Northern Forest CESU partners and will be evaluated on purpose, technical approach, budget justification, and applicant qualifications, with proposal packages requiring a technical narrative, budget narrative, data management plan, biographical sketches, and current/pending support information.
