The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, part of NIH, is seeking applications for the NINDS Child Neurology Career Development Program (CNCDP) to support the research career development of physicians specializing in child neurology. The program is a single national K12 effort led by one or more PD/PIs with an advisory committee, and it is designed to provide scholars up to three consecutive years of support to build the knowledge, tools, and research experience needed for independent research careers. The opportunity does not allow clinical trials, although mentor-led clinical trial experience may be included, and applicants must have strong institutional commitment; foreign organizations and foreign components are not eligible.
