FY26 Community Policing Development: Law Enforcement Products and Resources
Grant Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Justice Office of Community Oriented Policing Services is seeking applications for the FY26 Community Policing Development: Law Enforcement Products and Resources grant program. Funded through cooperative agreements, the initiative aims to develop educational products and resources for national distribution that promote common sense community policing, as well as deploy the COPS Training Portal eLearning program. Applicants may propose projects under two distinct categories: developing national-distribution resources on law enforcement topics, or managing and deploying the flagship COPS Training Portal which delivers approximately 75 percent of the office's annual training. The program has an estimated total funding of $7,000,000 to support approximately 12 awards with an individual ceiling of $1,500,000, and applications must be submitted by August 24, 2026.
