Grant Opportunity Analysis
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration is offering the Tribal Opioid Response discretionary grant program to help address the opioid overdose crisis in Tribal communities. The program supports increased access to FDA-approved medications for opioid use disorder and the full continuum of prevention, treatment, and recovery support services for opioid use disorder and co-occurring substance use disorders. It also supports prevention, treatment, and recovery services for stimulant misuse and use disorders, including cocaine and methamphetamine, and eligibility is limited to federally recognized American Indian or Alaska Native tribes and tribal organizations that may apply individually, as a consortium, or in partnership with an Urban Indian Organization. Eligible Applicants
Eligibility is limited to federally recognized American Indian or Alaska Native Tribe or Tribal organizations as defined in 25 USC 5304. Tribes and Tribal organizations may apply individually, as a consortium, or in partnership with an Urban Indian Organization.
