FY 2026 Global Undergraduate Exchange Program
Grant Opportunity Analysis
The Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs is seeking a cooperative agreement to administer the FY 2026 Global Undergraduate Exchange Program, a federal exchange grant focused on providing undergraduate participants with a "real American" experience and advancing U.S. exchange objectives. The program places small cohorts at a range of colleges and universities, including community colleges, land-grant institutions, rural campuses, and Senior Military Institutions, while requiring study in U.S. history, civic engagement, and American culture. It is intended to support about 160 participants and emphasizes placement across strategic fields such as business, entrepreneurship, semiconductors, AI, engineering, critical minerals, manufacturing, and supply chain resilience, with participant health and safety prioritized and performance tracking built around ECA MODE indicators and survey-based monitoring.
