The Office on Violence Against Women is offering the Fiscal Year 2026 Rural Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking Grant Program to help states, territories, Indian Tribes, local governments, and nonprofit entities improve safety and justice for victims in rural communities. The program supports victim services such as advocacy, legal assistance, and shelter, along with work tied to investigation, prosecution, adjudication, parole and probation, and other responses to domestic and sexual violence. It is intended to encourage collaboration, expand nonprofit victim services, improve safety and well-being for women and children in rural areas, and ensure access to sexual assault medical forensic exams.
