Grant Opportunity Analysis
The Bureau of Justice Assistance, under the U.S. Department of Justice, is seeking applications for the FY26 Coordinated Tribal Assistance Solicitation (CTAS) grant. This discretionary funding opportunity allows federally recognized Indian Tribes and tribal consortia to submit a single application to address public safety, criminal and juvenile justice, substance use related crimes, and the needs of victims and survivors. Funded activities are organized into specific purpose areas, including Tribal healing to wellness courts and support services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking. There is no cost-sharing or matching requirement for this program. Applications must be submitted by October 15, 2026, with individual award amounts ranging up to a ceiling of $5,600,000, and inquiries can be directed to tribalgrants@usdoj.gov.
