Grant Opportunity Analysis

The U.S. Mission to Indonesia, through the U.S. Department of State’s Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund, is offering grant funding for exchange alumni projects that advance U.S. policy objectives and shared interests. The program supports alumni-led initiatives that celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States and focus on security and transnational threats, artificial intelligence and digital innovation, or entrepreneurship and market-based growth. Proposals must come from teams of at least two eligible exchange alumni, with projects designed to make the United States safer, stronger, and more prosperous while delivering tangible benefits to U.S. interests and local communities; applicants must also provide a project design, timeline, outreach plan, and monitoring and evaluation approach. Awards range from $5,000 to $35,000, and applications are due by May 10, 2026, and must be submitted by email.
