USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service is seeking a funding recipient to design and deliver a training program that supports promotion of U.S. distilled spirits exports to Uzbekistan. The selected institution will run a 1-2 week program for nine Uzbek private sector participants, with content covering U.S. alcoholic beverage regulations, production, industry specifics, and market development, including bourbons and U.S. whiskeys. The host institution will propose the U.S. place or places of performance, while USDA/FAS will recruit the Uzbek participants after the notice closes; eligible applicants include U.S. state cooperative institutions, colleges, and universities. Applications are due May 14, 2026, with $115,000 available for one award, and submissions must be made through ezFedGrants; questions are due May 6, 2026.
