The National Institutes of Health and the National Institute of General Medical Sciences are seeking applications for Biomedical Technology Optimization and Dissemination Centers to support late-stage technology optimization and sustainable dissemination of technologies to the wider biomedical research community. Funded centers must implement three integrated components consisting of Technology Optimization Projects for specialized late-stage technologies, Driving Biomedical Projects to act as refinement test beds, and Community Engagement plans to facilitate broad technology adoption. Proposed projects must address biomedical research areas within the National Institute of General Medical Sciences mission and cannot include clinical trials. Eligible applicants may request a maximum budget of $850,000 in direct costs per year for a project period of up to five years, with applications accepted through the final expiration date of January 30, 2029.
