The Defense Health Agency’s FY26 Ovarian Cancer Research Program Investigator-Initiated Research Award provides grant funding for high-impact research that addresses critical needs in ovarian cancer or patient and survivor care. The work may span basic laboratory through translational research, must exclude clinical trials, and should include preliminary data, a strong scientific rationale, and, where appropriate, a Partnering PI approach for two investigators on one project. Applications must align with FY26 OCRP areas of emphasis and are subject to peer review and programmatic review, with eligibility for extramural and intramural U.S. Department of War organizations and PIs at or above the Assistant Professor level. About $16.45 million is available for roughly 14 awards, with pre-applications due July 13, 2026 and full applications due October 1, 2026 through eBRAP and, for extramural applicants, Grants.gov.
