OVC FY 2026 National Mass Violence Center

The Office for Victims of Crime is seeking applications to support the continued operation of the National Mass Violence Center (NMVC) under a cooperative agreement. The selected recipient will prepare for and respond to mass violence incidents by providing training, education, and both in-person and virtual victim-support services to law enforcement, first responders, survivors, and families. Work activities focus on implementing mental health care and emergency supports, creating recovery centers, and integrating victim needs into existing community emergency response plans. Eligible applicants are restricted to private institutions of higher education. Applications are due by July 22, 2026, with an estimated total program funding and award ceiling of $6,000,000 for a single award, and inquiries can be directed to OJP.ResponseCenter@usdoj.gov.
