Grant Opportunity Analysis

The U.S. Embassy Riyadh Public Diplomacy Section is seeking applications for a cooperative agreement to run the AI Partnership & Exchange for Tech Leaders program. The selected partner will design and implement a three-phase initiative consisting of a virtual recruitment and preparatory hackathon, a two-week U.S. exchange trip to American tech hubs with post-trip mentorship, and a follow-on capstone showcase event in Saudi Arabia. The program is designed for English-speaking Saudi nationals aged 20 to 30 studying or working in artificial intelligence, and the U.S. Embassy will maintain substantial programmatic involvement, including participant selection and curriculum approval. Eligible applicants, including non-profits and educational institutions, must submit their proposals by September 8, 2026, for an award value between $150,000 and $250,000, and include three budget scenarios for cohorts of 12, 16, and 20 participants.
