The National Institutes of Health, through the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases, is seeking a cooperative agreement to establish a Data Coordination and Integration Center for the HEAL Initiative’s INTERACT program. The center will coordinate, manage, curate, and harmonize complex pain-associated data from INTERACT and related musculoskeletal datasets, while also developing a web-accessible information system, training on data standards, and tools for data integration and secondary analysis. The award is expected to involve substantial NIH programmatic involvement, with awardees retaining primary rights to data and software, and the project period is up to five years. NIH intends to commit up to $4 million for one award, and applications are due September 1, 2026, with submission to follow the specified instructions in the announcement.
