Grant Opportunity Analysis

The U.S. Department of State’s Public Diplomacy Section at the U.S. Embassy in Beirut is seeking proposals to promote U.S. priorities and strengthen ties between the United States and Lebanon. Funded programs must advance digital literacy, leverage artificial intelligence tools, and establish forums to identify and counter false adversarial narratives that undermine Lebanon's stability. All proposals must incorporate an American element, last between 9 and 18 months, and will be evaluated based on the quality of the program idea, project planning, organizational capacity, budget, and monitoring and evaluation plan. Eligible Lebanese not-for-profit organizations and think tanks must submit their applications electronically to PDBeirutGrants@state.gov by August 7, 2026, for awards ranging from $100,000 to $250,000 out of a total $500,000 funding pool.
