The Department of the Army’s USAMRAA, through the FY26 Vision Research Program, is offering a Clinical Trial Award to support rapid clinical trials aimed at improving treatment or management of service-connected eye injury and visual dysfunction. The award is intended for research aligned with at least one FY26 VRP focus area and is part of a broader CDMRP vision research portfolio that also includes other award mechanisms. For interventions that require IND, IDE, or equivalent authorization, the regulatory submission must be made by the application deadline, and evidence that the study is active or safe to proceed must be provided by March 1, 2027 for funding consideration.
