The Defense Health Agency’s FY26 Military Burn Research Program Technology/Therapeutic Development Award, administered through the Department of the Army’s USAMRAA, funds product-driven research to translate promising preclinical burn findings into clinical applications for austere, resource-limited operational settings. The award supports development of products such as medical devices, drugs, or clinical practice guidelines, including knowledge products that directly support a technology or therapeutic under development. Projects must address FY26 burn-care focus areas, be backed by preliminary data, meet at least Technology/Knowledge Readiness Level 4, and may not include clinical trials or human subject enrollment.
