The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) is inviting applications for its Awards for Faculty programs, specifically targeting faculty and staff at Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs), Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), and Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs). The program aims to enhance humanities research opportunities by supporting individual scholarly projects that may result in books, articles, digital resources, and course improvements, thereby contributing to the broader goals of equity and cultural preservation in the humanities. With an estimated total program funding of $1.5 million, approximately 22 awards will be granted, each ranging from $30,000 to $60,000, with no cost-sharing required. Interested applicants must submit their proposals by April 9, 2025, and can find additional information and resources, including a pre-application webinar scheduled for February 5, 2025, at the NEH's official website or by contacting the Division of Research Programs at FacultyAwards@neh.gov.
