Mill Creek Natural Resource Training and Education
Grant Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, is seeking a non-federal public or nonprofit partner for a cooperative agreement to deliver natural resource training and education at Mill Creek. The work supports the Youth Conservation Services program and includes outdoor education, job training for young adults 18 and older, flood control infrastructure maintenance, environmental and recreational resource management, and public engagement. The recipient will recruit and supervise participants, provide safety oversight and basic tools, while USACE will supply the work site, guidance, materials, heavy equipment, and technical assistance; proposals are evaluated on training experience, conservation experience, management capability, financial resources, integrity, and budget realism. The performance period runs from June 4, 2026, to November 30, 2026, and applications are due May 28, 2026, through email or Grants.gov for one award with $35,930 in estimated funding.
