The Administration for Community Living, within the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research, is seeking applications for a cooperative grant to fund the Spinal Cord Injury Model Systems National Data and Statistical Center. The selected grantee must manage and maintain the national, longitudinal database tracking the life courses and outcomes of individuals with traumatic spinal cord injuries. Deliverables include monitoring data quality, providing training and methodological consultation, and collaborating with individual Model System Centers to support rigorous research. This award is for a 60-month project period beginning September 1, 2026, consisting of five 12-month budget periods with a strong emphasis on Section 508 compliance and collaborative capabilities. Applications must be submitted via Grants.gov by July 29, 2026, for this single award valued at up to $800,000 per budget period.

States; public or private agencies, including for-profit agencies; public or private organizations, including for-profit organizations; IHEs; and Indian tribes and tribal organizations. Foreign entities are not eligible to compete for, or receive, awards made under this announcement. Faith-based and community organizations that meet the eligibility requirements are eligible to receive awards under this funding opportunity announcement.
