Grant Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration, on behalf of the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Postsecondary Education, is soliciting discretionary grant applications for the Talent Search Program to help disadvantaged students pursue and complete secondary and postsecondary education. The program funds projects that identify eligible participants, publicize student financial assistance, and support access, persistence, graduation, enrollment, and attainment outcomes. Applicants must target at least 500 participants annually, with two-thirds being low-income first-generation college students, and must complete the required profile form with target schools, performance objectives, and a random sample plan for tracking postsecondary attainment. Applications are due May 1, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time, with no matching requirement, and the opportunity lists an award floor of $250,000 and an award ceiling of $10,000,000.
