Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund 2026

The U.S. Mission to Laos and Embassy Vientiane are seeking proposals for the Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund 2026 to support public diplomacy projects. Successful individual applicants must be alumni of U.S. government exchange programs who will develop and implement community-based initiatives that promote shared interests and advance U.S. foreign policy objectives. All projects must celebrate and promote the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States and align with administration policy goals of protecting national security, strengthening economic prosperity, or defending freedom of speech. The agency expects to award approximately two grants ranging from $5,000 to $35,000 each, out of an estimated total program funding of $70,000.
