The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is offering the 2025 White-nose Syndrome Grants to States and Tribes to support efforts in managing and conserving bat populations affected by the invasive fungus Pseudogymnoascus destructans, which causes White-nose Syndrome (WNS). This funding opportunity aims to provide financial assistance to U.S. State and Tribal agencies to fulfill information needs for bat conservation, implement management actions for WNS, and engage in the National Response to WNS and the North American Bat Monitoring Program (NABat). With an estimated total program funding of $1.5 million, grants will range from $10,000 to $75,000, and applications must be submitted electronically by September 12, 2025, with an initial evaluation deadline on August 15, 2025.
