The Rural Business-Cooperative Service of the USDA is offering the Rural Microentrepreneur Program (RMAP), which provides approximately $21 million in loans and grants to support rural microentrepreneurs and microenterprises. The program aims to assist Microenterprise Development Organizations (MDOs) by providing funds for revolving loan programs and grants for technical assistance and entrepreneurship training. Eligible applicants include non-profit entities, Indian Tribes, and public institutions of higher education, with a requirement for cost-sharing of at least 15 percent for grants.
