Workforce Integration in Conflict Areas
Grant Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Mission to Pakistan, through the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad, is seeking a cooperative agreement to support Workforce Integration in Conflict Areas and build sustainable pathways to employment in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The program calls for assessing graduate skill gaps and employer needs, then developing and delivering employment training with local vocational-technical institutions, helping place graduates into internships and jobs, and encouraging provincial and national replication of successful courses. It is aimed at public school and madrassah graduates in these regions, with the work framed around countering violent extremism and supporting U.S. commercial interests. The award is limited to one agreement, with a funding range of $200,000 to $300,000, no cost sharing required, and applications due May 15, 2026; inquiries may be sent to PakistanGrants@state.gov.
